Tours You can schedule a guided tour of the Yakima Valley Museum by calling the Education Department. Group visits to the Museum or Children's Underground can also be arranged. Children's Underground The Children's Underground, located "under ground" in the Museum's lower level, offers a variety of hands-on activities that help children learn about local history. Family Programs The Yakima Valley Museum offers programs and workshops throughout the year for children and families.

Field Trips The museum is an ideal environment for your students' to help them prepare for the Washington Assessment of Student Learning test. Find out how! Discovery Trunks Created by students from Wapato Middle School, each of these trunks is filled with objects from a different Yakima Valley culture. They can be borrowed for use in local classrooms.
